Our recent Marrakesh themed trunk show got us itching to return to one of our favorite travel destinations. Few countries hold as much dreamy fascination for travelers as the beautiful country of Morocco. Desert fortresses rise out of the sands of the Sahara. Sapphire oceans caress white sandy beaches. The purple peaks of the Atlas Mountains glitter with snow. To get you inspired and plan your next vacation, check out the Travel + Leisure guide by clicking on the image below:
Amanda Saiontz Gluck aka The Fashionable Hostess recently wore one of our newest pieces, The Grace Dress, to a wedding. It's finally BBQ and outdoor eating weather, so we are constantly entertaining. While we love cooking, it can sometimes get in the way of socializing with guests. We love the idea of having an array of salads that can be prepared before. They're also refreshing on a hot summer day. Check out our Pinterest board by clicking on the image below for our favorite easy and delicious combinations.
Summer is officially here (almost!) and we are finding ourselves spending as much time as possible outside- working, entertaining, lounging etc. One of our favorite new outdoor discoveries is the realization that a smart TV with Wifi equals an instant drive in movie night. Check out more outside space ideas on our current favorite Pinterest board- just click on the image below.
We recently returned to our favorite destination in the Caribbean, Vieques, a small island off the coast of Puerto Rico. It's easy to get to- flights from NYC to San Juan are offered frequently and inexpensively from Delta and Jet Blue. A Cape Air flight connects you to the Vieques Airport. We recommend renting a Jeep and exploring the island yourself. Cabs are available as well. For an adventure vacation, we recommend a sailing trip, deep sea fishing, snorkling, horseback riding, bio bay kayaking and paddle boarding through the mangroves. Sounds like a lot? The incredible guides on the Island make it easy and enjoyable, and there is always time to relax on a beach in between, as they are all over the island, Sun Bay being our favorite. We are fortunate enough to have outdoor space in NYC, and have started planting a garden; pics coming soon. Being in a city with tall buildings and trees means shade is inevitable, so we did some research on what types of plants would work and still provide WOW factor. Click on the image below to find out.
12 oil paintings per second, all done by over 100 painters trained in the same style. A new biopic about the life of Vincent Van Gogh. We cannot wait. Check out the trailer below.
